Switch between a few parallel blocks of content within one page.
When to use it
- Different aspects of the same thing, such as overview, activity and settings
- The blocks are parallel and you only need one at a time
When not to
- You need to compare two blocks side by side
- More than about six tabs, or steps that have an order
What to tell an AI tool
Put a row of tabs above the content area; selecting one switches the content below, the current tab is underlined, and the page does not reload.
